Participant Terms and Wellbeing Acknowledgement

Welcome

Thank you for registering for an Unstoppable Within workshop or programme facilitated through Tech Beyond Gender. Our workshops are designed to create supportive, reflective, and empowering environments for personal and professional growth. By participating in these programmes, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Nature of the Programmes

Unstoppable Within workshops and programmes are designed for:

  • personal development
  • confidence building
  • emotional wellbeing
  • leadership growth
  • mindset and behavioural awareness
  • mindfulness and breathwork practices

These experiences are educational and transformational in nature. They are not psychotherapy, counselling, psychiatric care, or medical treatment.

2. Personal Responsibility

Participants remain fully responsible for:

  • their own wellbeing
  • personal decisions and actions
  • how they choose to participate in workshop activities

Participation is voluntary, and individuals are encouraged to engage at their own pace and comfort level.

3. Emotional Wellbeing

Some workshops may involve:

  • self-reflection
  • emotional awareness practices
  • mindfulness exercises
  • group discussion
  • breathwork practices

Participants are encouraged to take breaks when needed and seek professional support where appropriate. If you are currently experiencing severe emotional distress or significant mental health concerns, these programmes should not be considered a substitute for professional healthcare or mental health support.

4. Breathwork & Mindfulness Practices

Breathwork and mindfulness practices are offered as optional wellbeing tools designed to support awareness, grounding, emotional regulation, and resilience. Participants are responsible for listening to their bodies and modifying participation where necessary. If you have any medical concerns or pre-existing conditions that may impact participation, you are encouraged to seek appropriate medical advice prior to attending.

5. Respectful Participation & Confidentiality

We aim to create safe and respectful spaces for all participants.

Participants are expected to:

  • contribute respectfully
  • respect the privacy of others
  • avoid sharing personal stories or discussions outside the workshop environment without consent

For organisational workshops, personal reflections shared during sessions will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to employers or managers.

6. Organisational Workshops

Where workshops are funded or supported by organisations:

  • participation remains voluntary
  • attendance does not constitute counselling or employee assistance services
  • participants remain responsible for their own engagement and wellbeing throughout the experience

7. Workshop Outcomes

Every individual’s experience is different. While many participants experience meaningful personal and professional growth, no guaranteed outcomes or specific results are promised.

8. Programme Changes

Tech Beyond Gender reserves the right to:

  • reschedule workshops if required
  • adjust programme formats or delivery methods
  • decline participation where appropriate for wellbeing or safety reasons
